Audiobook Review: The Other Side of Perfect by Mariko Turk
The Other Side of Perfect is a joyful and heartbreaking story about art, passion and loving something that might not love you back. It also features theatre (namely high school musical productions), friends and wholesome romance. It's the kind of book I need someone to give younger me whenever we invent time travel.

Review: The Summer Job by Lizzy Dent
The Summer Job is a funny and heartwarming story of mistaken identities, wine and finding a place where you belong. I've been dipping my toes into more romance recently and was excited by the premise of this; mistaken identity mischief? That just sounded like a great time and it did not disappoint!

Review: Victories Greater Than Death by Charlie Jane Anders
Victories Greater Than Death is a vibrant and action-packed space adventure about choosing your own destiny, the ethics of being a hero and the value of friendships. The premise immediately caught my eye because I, too would've loved to find out that I was actually an alien as a teenager. This book allows us to experience a version of what that might actually look like.

Review: Nevermoor. The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow is a magical adventure for readers of all ages. It's full of wonder and mystery but also a lot darker than I assumed. Jessica Townsend takes her readers seriously and trusts children to be able to handle darker themes such as death and complicated family dynamics.

Review: The Ravens by Kass Morgan and Danielle Paige
A sorority full of witches hiding plenty of secrets, past mistakes coming to haunt them and the power of friendship: The Ravens was exactly what I wanted it to be. It's full of magic that is both awe-inspiring and twistingly dark and tackles themes of sisterhood, expectations and the lines we are willing to cross to belong.
